Nutrition Institute
The National Nutrition Institute in Cairo was
established in 1955. The Institute seeks to stimulate and to
continually strengthen its collaborative activities with other
institutions. Among the resources are the Institute's faculty and
researchers which include professionals with diverse interests and
skills, many of them have had extensive international experience.
The researchers come from different academic and work-related
backgrounds, such as health, agriculture, biochemistry, home
economics and social sciences.

The National Nutrition Institute is one of
the 28 Nutrition WHO Collaborating Centers worldwide. Its first
designation was in 1992 and since then it has gained good
reputation for its nutrition experts, consultants, multi-center,
studies and research oriented projects. The Institute's Training Unit
also provides special tailored training courses to institutions and
governments according to their specific training needs.
